A Mask of Lies

We cannot see God face to face. Why, because we are Him! The moment we begin to separate ourselves from each other, we begin to live behind a mask of lies. We did this in order to hide our sins, just like in the Garden of Eden. Man has not changed since he began his long flight from God-consciousness.

The Bible speaks of war and rumors of war; right now we are in a state of war. The innocent will even perish, as evil does its worst to its own kind. What remains is yet to be seen.

Russia has always been our enemy and now even more so. These days we see the result of war on TV in our own homes and are powerless to do anything but witness the chaos. We see body bags being dumped into a hastily dug trench. We see tanks on the move (finally) and doing the worse to the land and its people.

What does this have to do with each individual? It is only the individual that can change. The masses are just a collection of individuals after all.

So I sit here typing away to share what I have learned from decades of spiritual study.

What will be already is. Do not try and change the outer picture.

Sit in silence, listen to it and realize that you are the Self, you are God-consciousness contained in your body.

Consciousness cannot perish. It is empty of physicality and belief systems.

It is empty of human emotions.

It is you unmasked from your social constraints.

There is a reason that mystics prefer to be alone. In solitude God is discovered to be within.

Lift up your brothers and sisters by being aware that just like you, they are living behind a mask. The day will come when it is safe to put the masks aside and live as God intended us to live.

In the meantime, separate yourself from negative thoughts and feelings so that your very vibration lifts people up.

  1. Yes, yes, yes! Thanks for the reminder Vicky. You really outdid yourself with this one. Pure, clear, and on the mark. It does no good to blame others and hope they will wake up. Each person has the responsibility. Bill

    1. It is easy for me to sit at my Mac and bang these essays out, but those in danger of their lives have no time to sit and ponder truth. It is essential to ponder truth, though, just as it is essential to protect your homeland from invaders.
