Putin is an indiscriminate killer and yet he walks free. He is torching the innocent. Trenches are dug to bury his victims and yet he walks free.
The world is on the verge of extinction; we thought it might come from disregarding climate change, but no; evil may push the button that destroys us all.
What do the teachings of the Buddha, Christ and other enlightened masters have to say about this? “My kingdom is not of this world.” Oh, it is a beautiful planet we dwell on, but so many body bags, so much viciousness, so many closed hearts.
God may well ring the curtain down on humanity if it can’t get its act together.
I sit in my comfortable suburban home watching the war on TV, a brand spanking new smart one. Will I remain comfortable with the incessant coverage of the bloody siege of Ukraine?
President Zelensky is loved all over the globe by everyone but Putin and Putin is in charge of this world at the present time. He holds nuclear weapons so he is declared the winner by default.
Death cannot be undone; that is the mortal truth.
All the world may be in prayer but prayer cannot save the world.
So what is to be done while we sit watching the inevitable march of war? We have no power to stop it. Zelensky can only martyr himself as he defends his beloved Ukraine.
I suggest that it is never too late to change our own consciousness; that is the very least we can do. Is it so hard to live the truth?
When truth is lived, miracles can happen—the miracles of changed hearts and minds. It is too late for many. I pray that those thrown in mass graves are translated immediately into the heavenly worlds. This world is a temporary place anyway; we instinctively know that as human beings we have expiration dates marked on us as individuals. Love, however, is timeless and it is time to throw caution to the winds and let ourselves surrender to the Higher Power that knows no death.
May God help us all.

Hello dear Vicki,
This post is undeniable bold with total truth! I believe you have called it accurately. Zelensky recently said of Putin and his nuclear “threats” that he is bluffing, and that he is a murderer, but it’s another thing to commit suicide. The only silver lining and glimmer of hope is exactly as you stated…a change in our own consciousness through complete surrender to the Higher Power.
BTW, we are home.
For now….namaste friend,
Tami
I am just seeing your comment! WordPress is an awful medium for me. So sorry.
Perfectly beautiful and also meaningful. Thank you so much Vicki for your insight and your words.

Dennis, I am just now seeing this comment. Glad I can speak truth to the few!
This passage was so absolutely honest and raw. Within the horror and chaos described (and we do watch it on TV — too reminiscent of 9/11), you thankfully describe what we can do and absolutely need to do. We must do our part of actually living the truth, being willing to change our consciousness and (I am mainly using your words because they immediately reverberated in me upon reading and are still reverberating within me) and SURRENDER to our Higher Power (Love/Truth/God). Thank you so much, Vicki.
Three comments did not get through yesterday and yours was one of them. We are in perilous times for mankind. The truth has always been for the few who must cherish it.
