Uplifted Spirits

I saw my neurologist today for a checkup. He was surprised to hear that the tremors were in my face; he said he had not seen that before. Apparently, he thinks the tremors are unrelated to my neuropathy. He doubled the dosage of the medication for the tremors and said to check in by email in a couple of weeks.

Just to see this man uplifts my spirits. You have all heard of healers that lift the energy of those around him? Don Theo is like that and so is Dr. English (the neurologist).

I told him he was my favorite doctor and he smiled broadly. I said, “You always respond to my emails in no time at all and when you are in pain, that counts for so much.” He just said something like, “I try.”

He also runs his clinic on time. He is the head of The Muscular Sclerosis Center here in Atlanta and is a very busy man, yet he remains kind and compassionate. He told me if the tremors got too bad at some point, deep brain stimulation worked well for them.

Rob was my chauffeur and on the way home we stopped at Whole Foods. That was a lot of fun. I got some fresh carrots and tomatoes and potatoes. Also threw in delicious cookies. Rob got some Tikka Masala Sauce and some rice.

We are both getting covid vaccinations on Wednesday and that is good news indeed.

Love,
Vicki
