These are trying days, for sure. Seems only yesterday we were blissfully unaware of how quickly the corona virus would spread, causing country after country to call on their citizens to live their lives differently. But spirituality calls on us to do our inner work, no matter what happens outwardly.
Of course, human beings are slow to learn and only dire threats cause sudden change. Usually evolution moves at a snail’s pace. Now we are taking a giant leap into the negative unknown.
It is unknown what will happen next in the physical world; that is always true, we just don’t realize it. It is also unknown what will happen next in the emotional world, either.
We are all restless, jumpy and deeply afraid that we might get the virus. That doesn’t help any, but we are mechanical men and women. We are reacting machines that cannot do what is asked of us.
So there will be those that will make the chaos and the contagion worse.
I am listening to people that are speaking honestly to us, not the liars that only want to agitate and control. They are always that way; it is just that crises make them visible.
Rob and I are moving quietly around the house. He gets out for long walks. I have been doing small household tasks I don’t usually do. Cleaning out drawers and making lists. I cancelled medical appointments I had recently made.
I will leave you with one of my familiar exercises:
Work hard gathering energy when you have no problems. Say that to yourself to invite positive energy into your auric field.
Love,
Vicki
