The Beauty of Simplicity

I am in high hopes of getting some new readers on my blog and Facebook Page. If not, I may ride off into the sunset and you wouldn’t want that, would you?

My old readers know that I never use mumbo-jumbo or claim to be enlightened. Enough of that already! The people using non-dual speak surely don’t think we are dumb enough to need to have our own natures explained to us. That is so yesterday.

No, everyone must figure things out for themselves. We can read the wise words of others, but they are just confirmation of what we already know.

I don’t do anything but write and make the occasional video. It all comes from me from a gut level and is very plain to understand. I majored in English but never fancied elaborate stuff. Give it to me straight, I say.

Humor is a must if you are on the path home. I begin writing humor before I wrote spiritual essays. Brevity is also a plus with me. I say it but don’t ‘splain it.

I am busy getting used to having neuropathy and it is no walk in the park. There are many different suggestions as to diet, etc, but the bottom line is that it is a daily pain for me now. That means I am cutting off all unnecessary pains like discussions on my Facebook Page. People have to go elsewhere for that. I like interaction but not dry bones non-duality. The heart has no need for discussion. It already knows and recognizes others that know.

I didn’t sleep at all last night, but during the daytime I feel like my old self. Meanwhile, I am looking forward to the interview on batgap. Do tune it in on November 19.

  1. Dear Vicki,
I am very glad that you felt well despite not sleeping (because of your neuropathy) the previous night!
Merely one of the beauties of simplicity is its inherent order.
Being a newbie to blogs, I don’t have a sense when to write and when to merely read and savor.
Please know that whether I comment or not, I appreciate your writings so much.

  2. I agree with Ruth. I don’t always have time or energy to sit at the computer, but know I can come anytime to visit you, Vicki, and read your healing words. Life gets in the way sometimes when all I want to do is sit in silence.

  3. Hello Vicki
    I am a fan also. A newbie. I’m now a subscriber!

I’m loving your writing and videos. They speak to me. It’s comforting and educational to read and listen. I’m also enjoying your first book.
