Hello, Dear Faithful Readers of my blog….

I wrote to a supporter of my work that BARE BEING, my second ebook, has not garnered much interest so far. He wrote this: “The response to your new book reminds me, for some reason, of a story I heard from an actor from when I did community theatre. He said he was in a play in New York where there was only one person in the audience — and then that guy left at intermission. Martin said they just continued on with the play and treated it like a rehearsal. Sometimes the means is the end.

Your way of writing blog posts and then creating books from them reminds me of Austin Kleon’s (he’s an artist in Austin, TX) post on stock and flow. Your blog is the flow and your books hold the durable stuff.

I’m sorry the response has not been up to your expectations. But don’t stop writing!”

Kleon’s post is an interesting one to read and I am grateful to this reader for sharing it with me. Because this is where my ebooks come from. I have a daily flow that I am faithful to and the stock is the ebooks that result. Both are important for me to sustain my vision.
