We are all walking around as if we were in charge! If that were so, things would be a lot better than they are, wouldn’t they?

It is good to see this as a simple fact. No one knows what they are doing.

Everything is just unfolding according to a higher plan. We have no access to it.

If we have no access to the divine plan, should we give up all hope?

No, the higher plan declares that we continue to hope, but in something higher than the mind.

I am wearing my robe and slippers. The sun is shining and the air is frigid. I have had coffee and a tasty salted caramel cookie. I am suffering the fate of all humanity.

Is this a negative fact? Ask Jesus. And don’t tell me He is dead or that you believe in something else altogether.

Many of you believe that you can change the nation’s political history for the better if you just try harder, if you just rally round the right cause. Jesus didn’t do that.

I am not a Jesus freak by any means. I use Him as the example of higher consciousness that is within you.

I say the Jesus prayer all the time. “Lord Jesus Christ, have mercy on me, a sinner.”

It works. I receive mercy in the face of every human plan I have that is doomed to failure.

I want my heart more than I want my mind. The mind is where Jesus was crucified. He rose into the heart.

The greatest story ever told.
