“He was in the world, and the world was made by him, and the world knew him not.” ~John 1:10

What works in the world of ego doesn’t work in the world of spirit. Never the twain shall meet. Why does it help me to know this? Because we have to get it clear that what we do from our own will is useless. Force is useless in matters of the heart and soul.

Nevertheless, it is sweet indeed to retire from the world and its insanity and come into my own.

I think the Bible says something about Jesus coming into His Own and the world knew him not.

That is exactly how it is with us.

Come into your own. The world will not know it, cannot know it.

Rest in the arms of what is eternal and let the worldly go.
