“The Edge of Enlightenment”— My Ebook
In “The Edge of Enlightenment” I write about Vernon Howard and what I learned from him. I also write about meeting Don Theo Paredes, whom I consider my teacher.
Calling him a teacher is puzzling to me, so I said to him, “You’re my teacher, aren’t you?” And he just smiled and said yes and that was all he said.
At a later time I said “You’re my teacher but you don’t teach me anything.” His reply was “Agata said to me, ‘You know a lot that you don’t talk about.’”
Agata is the person that introduced me to Theo. She died six months after that.
I told Theo that he is always with me and he said, “I don’t think of you all the time, but every now and then I realize you are around,” he said smilingly.
The heart, it is said, has a mind of its own.
Theo and Leonard Cohen both resonate with my heart to an amazing extent.
I never met Leonard yet he lives in my heart. I only see Theo twice a year and the same thing applies.
The time for me to accrue knowledge has long passed. Now I dwell in a state of the heart that only be called gratitude.
I am grateful for the handful of people that actually wanted to read “The Edge of Enlightenment.” Theo has told me that the right people will be led to what I write.
He is an illusive being. There is little to be known about him and all he does is energy healing.
He lifted a great deal of my sorrow at the first session I had with him several years ago. Now he just gives me “tune-ups.”
He returns to Peru and I continue to bat out notes online. Other than that, I live a simple life. I am paring down in hopes of downsizing in the next year or two.
One day I will disappear into the void. It is said one can do this while still in the body. A nice thought, but only a thought as of now. The heart is on its own schedule, fortunately.
