Dear Readers,
It’s been a short while since my ebook came out and I am wondering if some of you would be kind enough to provide me with some feedback on it. How did you like it? Are you reading it slowly? Does it resonate? That sort of thing.
I know that real learning is slow and painful. We must see parts of ourselves that no one likes. We don’t like them, either!
Each day we move through segments that are endurable, while others feel painful on a subconscious level.
I want to keep writing notes on what is going on in my inner life and hope it continues to be of interest to a few.
This is not a book that is marketable. To the contrary, it is for people that are interested in self-study and may find it soothing to know that we are all alike. No one gets out alive; yet we can aspire to lives of self-knowledge. It doesn’t matter if most of what we see is bad. The part of us that sees is the part that flowers invisibly and by spiritual law.
So take the time to let me know your feelings about the book. You can email me privately or post here on the blog.
If you haven’t gotten your copy, here is where you can donate.
Love and gratitude for your support,
Vicki
Vicki, your new e-book is on my tablet beside my bed. I call your essays, “lessons”. Each night I read one lesson, slowly… sometimes twice. The lessons shine a light on dark places that I have experienced… and have ignored for many years. Putting on a brave face has terrible consequences. Afterwards, I sip my sleepy time tea, tablet on my lap, and I sit quietly absorbing the nights lesson. Many times I cry because I too have experienced much pain in grief and sometimes I laugh out loud. Thank you for the e-book Vicky; the essays are beautiful and they help me.
Now this is why I write, Cyndy! To speak to those who have realized that self-love and self-knowledge is the only way out. It is both a duty and a privilege and we forget that. I still feel I have to put on a brave face and there is no reason why.
I believe in our power to awaken but it happens so slowly and is not at all like people online say it is. They who speak don’t know.
Thank you for working on yourself, as that is the only way you can help others. God bless you.
