Your Return to the Garden

Emptiness is our true nature and it takes a lifetime to move into it. Why? Because we feel threatened by it! Also, our culture tells us that this emptiness is a lack that can only be filled by struggle and effort.

There is no point in trying to teach someone about emptiness because it is something that happens. Everything just happens. That is why we go around armored to the hilt.

It does no good to try and attain emptiness ahead of time. It happens when it happens. What could be simpler?

But you see the mind gets a whiff of emptiness and it panics because its job is fullness. But not a fruitful fullness, not at all.

Even advanced beings are plagued by their own craziness; never think otherwise. To think otherwise is to indulge in fantasy.

Leonard Cohen talks much about his own sufferings because they were essential to his growth. This is where paradox begins to paint its own picture and all we do is watch.

When you are genuinely silent, emptiness pours down like manna from heaven. How can it be otherwise?

This world is at all times paradoxical. Never try to make sense of it. Go with your gut. Go with your own seeds of intuition. They are your return to the Garden.
