The night held bad dreams, the usual mashup of unresolved issues we all experience. There was one nice touch at the end. My mother had drawn a mural on the wall and my son was adding grapes to each cluster of vines. Fruitage of the spirit falling into place.
I asked Rob to drive me to a running shoe store so I could get a new pair. That done, we split a frozen mocha latte and a snickerdoodle cookie. Then we stopped by REI for a look at hiking shoes.
By the time we got back home, traffic was already getting heavier. It’s so nice to have a break from my usual day and yet be home in time to enjoy the late afternoon and evening.
That’s all the news so far. Hope you have had a good day.
