Sheer majesty
just had to be.
Nothing else would do.
I touched His Face
without a trace
of rue.
The melting heart
soon fell apart,
I tried to grasp it
but it was too late.
Now I had nothing
but His love,
the sky was filled and
the earth reflected
nothing that I had expected.
There was no God.
There was no me.
Just every shape of
eternity.
